SASHAKT is a non government organization (NGO) established in Feb 2008 with the aim of providing educational, recreational and therapeutic services to the person with multiple disabilities and under privileged children and adults in a most loving and caring atmosphere.
We work with different communities and organizations to reach out the maximum number of people with special needs.

AADHAR
AADHAR is a community based rehabilitation program in which a group of community workers including special educators go to the community and find out persons with disabilities and under privileged children and adults through community survey, schools and NGO visits and provides educational services to the needy. This is a kind of foundation program which not only helps the regular teacher/parents to understand their special child better but also gives a foundation to the child with special needs to cope up with his/her day to day problems.
EDUCATION FOR DEAF
This is centre based non formal education programs for the deaf children consisting sessions on basic “English Grammer” and “General Knowledge” taken by special educators though sign language.
LIFE SKILL PROGRAMS
This program works for multiple disabilities and under privileged children to provide skills training on “Activities Of Daily Living” including sessions on functional literacy, health and hygiene, general awareness, basic issues of safety and security etc. through story telling and other special education techniques.
STITCHING AND TAILORING
This program enables young women to stand on their feet by learning a vocational skill, which helps them to earn their livelihood and create self-respect for them in their families.
SAMRIDDHI
SAMRIDDHI is a re-creational group of students, where they “learn with fun”. Here students can experience the freedom of learning by playing games like carom board/Ludo, reading newspaper or magazine, watching movies, listening music, activities of Arts and Craft, different kinds of painting etc.
COUNSELING SERVICES FOR PARENTS
Sometime parents feel themselves very lonely and pathetic, and found nobody to share their problems. This is an open forum where parents can come and share their problems with other parents as well as with a professional counselor.
